Summer Training Group
Prepare for cross country season with purposeful summer training. The Summer Training Group helps athletes build the endurance, strength, consistency, and confidence needed to arrive at the start of the season ready to train and race. Rather than spending the first weeks of cross country getting back into shape, athletes can begin the season with a strong foundation already in place.
Racing season development
Keep the progress going when the seasonal training group ends.
Development Coaching gives athletes continued structure and guidance throughout their racing season. Runners receive weekly training, meet with Coach Avery once a week, and get ongoing guidance on how to approach workouts, prepare for races, and race with confidence.
It’s designed for athletes who have completed a seasonal training group and want to maintain continuity, keep developing, and carry what they’ve learned into their school or competitive season.
Private coaching
Highly individualized coaching for serious, highly motivated athletes with ambitious goals.
Private Coaching is our highest level of support, built around the athlete’s development, training history, racing schedule, and long-term goals. It includes a high level of communication, close attention to training and performance, and ongoing collaboration with both the athlete and their parents.
For runners who aspire to compete beyond high school, the focus extends beyond the next race or season. Training is designed with long-term development in mind, helping prepare athletes for the physical, competitive, and personal demands of collegiate running.
Private Coaching requires a one-year commitment and is best suited for athletes and families ready to invest fully in the training process and pursue performance at a high level. Acceptance begins with a conversation with Coach Guy to ensure a strong fit on both sides—a motivated athlete who is excited to work with him, and a coach who shares that enthusiasm for the athlete’s goals and development.
A fair-trade sliding scale is used for private coaching fees.
